Mark Laitflang Stone
Founder & CEO
Mark Laitflang Stone is an award-winning entrepreneur, speaker and impact coach and is the founder and CEO of Meghalaya based AVENUES- North East India’s leading personal development enterprise. His entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 17 in spaces as diverse as technology, events and hospitality, telecom distribution, life coaching and business consulting. With over two decades of building meaningful partnerships in the youth empowerment space with government, and pioneering successful ventures in the services sector, what is closest to Mark’s heart is the organisation he founded at 20 in Shillong, India. Under his leadership, Avenues has touched the lives of over 1,00,000 people across Northeast India through soft skills and personal development interventions. Mark also leads Avenues’ Business Consulting division that has recently led the state level, COVID 19 citizen helpline utilising an innovative low-cost, cloud-based telephony solution, that is a first in the region. The division provides niche services in mass survey operations, data and impact assessment to government departments, civil society and community stakeholders.

Jasmine Laitflang stone
Ms. Stone’s passion for sharing knowledge has always been a major influence in her life, and this is evident from her choice of education to her place of work. With an international diploma in Pre-primary and Primary Education from the American TESOL Institute, and Bachelor Degrees in Philosophy and Education, Ms. Stone has spent over 13 years building an exemplary career in non-formal education, soft skills development and training.
At Avenues, she has committed her time to exploring strategies and pedagogies that address the gaps in formal education, empowering students with career competencies and life skills. She is also a Certified Life Coach from Symbiosis Coaching, USA.
Daphishisha Kharhujon
Mrs. Kharhujon currently leads our Career Readiness programmes overseeing, managing and leading campus interventions and partnerships across several states including Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland and Mizoram.
Armed with a Master’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Ms. Kharhujon is an accomplished coach and trainer and an internationally certified Life Coach and Neuro Linguistic Programming trainer, with over nine years of training experience. She has successfully led interventions impacting thousands of youth in Meghalaya and North East India through employability and career readiness programmes in schools, colleges and institutions of national importance.
Dari Kharwar
Dari is an AVENUES Life Coach, Trainer as well as a member of our Media Team who oversees our AVENUES Icon series on Instagram. When he’s not leading a training session, he also performs research and is photographer/ videographer capturing important moments. Dari enjoys spending time in the great outdoors in his spare time.
Fedela Tariang
Fedela is an AVENUES Trainer and Life Coach who also handles responsibilities in our Events division. She is one of AVENUES’ longest standing trainers, having been with us for 17 years. With a background freelancing in teaching piano, Della – as she is known to us – has always had a love for imparting knowledge. She is an endearing personality who still loves playing the piano from time to time.
Mankhraw Kharbuli
Mr. Kharbuli’s training sessions are marked by industry standard coaching principles and philosophies. His Masters in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Business Studies, Bengaluru and subsequent tenure at financial giant JP Morgan Chase lends him deep corporate training insights and an understanding of the human resources landscape. His sessions in interpersonal skills, communication and personal leadership are upbeat and easy-going, yet detailed and immersive. Over his 7+ years with Avenues, Mankhraw’s ability to build partnerships and mobilize student communities across campuses in Meghalaya has been tested in challenging times.
Preeti Chhetri
Ms. Preeti Chhetri is an accomplished Communications and Language instructor, internationally certified as a Personal Empowerment Coach, by Symbiosis Coaching, USA and is one of the region’s only CELTA certified instructors recognized by the British Council in India.
Over six years of teaching and facilitating language and communication interventions for Avenues across markets, Ms. Chhetri’s remarkable ability to transform undergraduate students to employable young adults has been demonstrated across campuses and communities in North East India. Her love for teaching and reforming education systems is backed by a range of teacher training initiatives and a Bachelor's Degree in Education.
Gaurav Gurung
With a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Mr. Gurung has spent the last 15 years in the Corporate and Training sector with global giants like Facebook, IBM Global and American Express within the country and abroad. He has undergone Train The Trainer (T3) and Soft Skills Certification programmes.
His vast experience has left him with a sizeable number of skillsets which he now wishes to transfer to youth and in the process empower them with the ability to excel in their chosen path. Mr. Gurung is an accomplished animator and is a favourite among young people who love the energy and experience that he brings into his sessions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Gaurav has overseen the implementation of our technology and data platforms for the state level COVID-19 Helpline 14410.
Mac Lyngdoh
Basic human values and personal impact are the hallmark of Mr. Lyngdoh’s sessions in Personal Development and Life Coaching. He is driven by a deep conviction that when teaching is aligned with conviction and emotions, learning becomes transformational.
Following a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting, Mr. Lyngdoh’s career took a dramatic turn when he discovered a love for Leadership Development and Communication Skills while pursuing a Diploma in Advanced English & Humanities at the Dhyan Ashram, Kolkata. His unique ability to connect with and inspire diverse audiences through thoughtful lessons and engaging curriculum, has made him a favourite with youth and corporate communities alike across Northeast India.
Karen Marwein
In her own words, Karen “stumbled” upon a career in content writing 5 years ago and has not had any cause for regret since then. She is a prolific writer and researcher, who can skim through information, bring data points together and make sense of them before crafting stories that a layman would understand. Her writing career spans interesting niches in wellbeing, capacity building, ed-tech and health, lending our projects powerful content.
Ibasara Kharkongor
Over the course of Ibasara's tenure, our video content has generated over 250,000+ views, easily crossing the 1 million+ engagement milestone. Her competencies in project PR strategy, media team deployment, archiving, video production and editing, social media strategy, engagement planning and high-impact design are powerful tools for communicating impact.
Kenny Synjri

Pompy Dutta
Pompy is AVENUES’ Administrative Head who makes sure that our office runs smoothly and is in ship shape. A stable figure at our headquarters, Pompy handles the administrative finer details on the daily and values growing her skills and working as part of a supportive team. A lovely wife and mother, she also enjoys winding down with some music and gardening.
Saphi Rani
Saphira is an AVENUES Trainer, Life Coach and Front Desk Assistant who runs our life skills sessions as well as provides counselling to individuals who are looking to join our programmes. A woman armed with confidence and a sharp wit, Saphi enjoys bringing out positive changes to the lives of the people she meets. In her spare time, she’s likes art and crafts and listening to music.
Eva Ryntathiang
Eva is AVENUES’ Counsellor and probably the first person you’re most likely to meet at our headquarters. She manages admissions, queries and meeting clients interested in our dynamic programmes. Eva has been a pleasant presence ever since she joined us 6 years ago and enjoys travelling to new places in her free time.
